Stay safe at work and at home, especially when renovating. Some building materials like asbestos can be dangerous. Farms can be dangerous workplaces. Avoid accidents, electric shock and poisoning. Take care when dealing with pests and pesticides.

Building materials

Take care when you renovate or build. Handle asbestos carefully. Treated pine may also pose risks if you don’t protect yourself.

Appliances and machinery

Use equipment and machinery with care. Electricity also requires caution.

Pharmaceuticals and chemicals

Chemicals, pesticides and medicines require great care to avoid poisonings. These hazardous substances should not go into the normal rubbish bin.

Farm work safety issues

A farm can be a dangerous workplace. Animals, machinery, even water tanks and dams can pose risks.
